AVEDA, a brand dedicated to sustainable beauty, created a special gift sleeve for Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving Day. HEAZ reinterpreted the traditional aesthetics of Chuseok with a modern design, incorporating the texture of hanji (traditional Korean paper) and a subtle pearlescent finish. The sleeve features an adhesive-free structure with soft curves and an interlocking knot at the center, inspired by the graceful folds of hanbok (traditional Korean attire). Embossing techniques further enhance the organic texture of hanji, adding a tactile dimension to the design. Additionally, a pattern inspired by norigae (a traditional Korean ornamental tassel) has been reimagined in a contemporary style, creating a refined and sophisticated look. By minimizing printing and eliminating adhesives in the custom sleeve design, AVEDA reinforces its commitment to environmental sustainability.
